Responsibilities: - Edit and produce high-quality YouTube videos, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and audience preferences. - Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and implement new ideas and concepts for video content. - Utilize video editing software to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that suits the channel's vision. - Make improvements and/or suggestions on editing workflow for efficiency and effectiveness. - Enhance video content through the addition of effects, graphics, and sound design. - Maintain an organized library of all digital assets and project files. - Ensure videos are edited to enhance viewer engagement and deliver on required timeframes. - Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and YouTube content creation. Requirements: - Proven work experience (3-5 years) as a video editor specializing in YouTube content. - Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. - Strong portfolio showcasing previous editing work, particularly for YouTube. - Excellent understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in editing. - Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team. - Detailed-oriented with a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling. Qualifications: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field preferred. - Strong technical knowledge of video formats, codecs, and transcoding. - Familiarity with YouTube’s algorithm, requirements, and best practices. - Knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics is a plus. - Ability to take constructive criticism and feedback effectively.
